Understanding Color Palettes
- Monochromatic: Variations in lightness and saturation of a single color. Creates a harmonious and visually appealing effect.
- Analogous: Groups of colors that are adjacent to each other on the color wheel. They create serene and comfortable designs.
- Split Complement: In addition to the base color, it uses the two colors adjacent to its complement. It has strong visual contrast but is less tense than a complementary scheme.
- Triad: A color scheme using three colors that are evenly spaced around the color wheel. Triadic color schemes tend to be quite vibrant.
